Jstor.org is an online database that you must be registered to. It is designed for students in college to find trusted information. This database allows you to type any word, words, key words, etc.., and a list of many kinds of information site will pop up. Anywhere from journals, to websites, and even articles, this site has it all. This is a scholarly site and all its information is in a trusted digital archive. LSU students can access this database for free through the LSU library online. First you go to http://www.lib.lsu.edu/ (LSU library online), then you click on indexes & databases, next by title hit the letter “J”, at that moment jstor.org should pop up and just click on it to access it. This database can be used in everyday life for students in school. It can help students with papers, presentations, and projects. Just type in the word and it gives you all sorts of information on that topic. I never realized that there was such a site. This really could have come in handy when trying to find reputable sources of information for my classes last semester. Good to know! The layout of the blog looks pretty good as well.
